This FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) section attempts to address various questions related to the shipping and handling of Mac Tools products. While it is not intended to be a technical guide, references and contact points are given throughout the FAQ for those that would like additional information.

Q: What are our shipping methods?
A:
FedEx is our primary method of shipping for items and orders under 150lbs.and customers can choose Ground or Express Shipping.
For items or orders over 150lbs, we use a common carrier and deliver as curb service. A person over the age of 18 must sign for these shipments.
Q: Where will we ship to?
A:
For FedEx orders, we will ship to any of the 50 States and Canada.
For items or orders over 150 lbs, we will ship to any of the 48 contiguous States and Canada. There may be some remote areas where customer pick up from the common carriers is required.
Q: What are our shipping rates?
A:
Charges are based on the weight of the products shipped. As you complete your checkout, a shipping charge will be displayed. This applies to most products which weigh less than 150 pounds.Some shippable items may require Special handling due to their size. Prices may vary by location and are based on the number of trips made to your location.

Can I return a Shipment?
A:
For Internet Customers only(excludes National Accounts) Mac Tools offers a 30 day return on all products. Products can be returned for a full refund with the following conditions:

  • A Material Return Authorization(MRA) is required for the return.
  • Product must be received with all included parts and manuals.Customer pays for shipping the product to Mac Tools.
  • Customer will receive credit for the original order amount to the customer’s credit card.
  • Contact Customer Service at 1-800-MACTOOLS for a Material Return Authorization.
Q:
What if my order is received wrong or defective?
A:
For product shipped to you in error or defective from purchases made on our Web Site, Mac Tools will ship the correct product upon notification by the customer.

  • Mac Tools will pay for the shipping cost.
  • A Material Return Authorization(MRA) is required.
  • Upon receipt of the item, the item will be returned or the customer’s credit card will be credited.
  • For defective product purchased from a distributor, please see the distributor for assistance.
  • Contact Customer Service at 1-800-MACTOOLS for a Material Returns Authorization.
Q: When will my order arrive?
A:
Shipping time is the number of business days (Monday-Friday) it takes a product to reach you from the date it is shipped. FedEx Ground will arrive in 1-5 business days, depending on your distance from Columbus,OH. FedEx Express will arrive in 3 business days. See www.fedex.com for more information.
Q: How do we ship multiple items?
A:
Mac Tools ships items as they are available,therefore you may receive more than one delivery if you purchase several items.  Items that will ship separately include items that have different shipping methods and items that are not available in our warehouses on the same day of your order.
