Q:
WHAT IS REQUIRED TO BECOME A MAC TOOLS DISTRIBUTOR?
A:
With good credit Mac Tools will finance 100% of the investment required to become a Distributor. Mac Tools does require that you have at least $8000 liquid cash (i.e. checking or savings) available to pay personal expenses during the first few months of the business startup. Mac Tools will not take this money from you, it is not a payment, it is to ensure that you are successful as your business gets started.

Q:
DOES MAC TOOLS ALLOW ME TO JUST BE AN AUTHORIZED RESELLER AND NOT SERVICE A ROUTE?
A:
No. The Mac Tools model does not allow businesses to simply order as a Distributor out of a current business or use a storefront. The Mac Tools Distributorship model is only for those that are interested in running their own mobile tool business.

Q:
WHAT IF I LIVE OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES OR CANADA; CAN I STILL BE A DISTRIBUTOR?
A:
No. At this time, Distributorships are only available in the US and Canada.

Q:
WHAT IS THE INVESTMENT REQUIRED FOR MY DISTRIBUTORSHIP?
A:
The investment varies dependent upon on the type of truck that you are approved for. This investment also includes a startup Inventory, computer package, business software and additional working capital in the form of a trade account credit.

Q:
HOW MUCH CASH DO I NEED?
A:
With good credit Mac Tools will finance 100% of the investment required to become a Distributor. However, to ensure your own personal expenses can be paid during the business start up, we will verify that you have access to $8,000 liquid cash in a checking or savings account. These funds will remain under your name and will not be paid to Mac Tools.

Q:
WHAT TRAINING WILL I RECEIVE?
A:
You will spend 1 week on a truck with an established Mentor Distributor before arriving in Columbus,Ohio for 8 days of classroom training. Upon completion of classroom training you will spend 2 weeks with your District Manager and participate in a structured field start. In addition, you will also be assigned to a Business Advisor from Mac Tools who will contact you every week during your first 16 weeks to review and analyze your business.

Q:
HOW IS MY ROUTE DETERMINED AND WILL I BE SUCCESSFUL?
A:
Routes do not determine the success of a distributor. Success is always determined by the individual distributor. All routes are established with the same criteria. Each distributor has the opportunity to participate in his/her route survey, conducted by your District Manager. All routes are given a minimum of 325 potential customers. Potential customers are classified as customers who actively make a living out of a tool box in a shop. Shops are not classified as potential customers.

Q:
HOW MUCH DO I PAY IN FRANCHISE FEES AND ROYALTIES?
A:
Mac Tools is not a franchise and therefore there are no Franchise fees. There are no Royalties or advertising fees either. You keep 100% of the profits you make on the products you sell.

Q:
HOW MUCH MONEY CAN I MAKE?
A:
Mac Tools cannot state the financial potential of this opportunity. We suggest that you speak with other Distributors regarding their success, and a Recruiting Specialist will be happy to set that up for you. You are 100% responsible for your success and like any other business your return is dependent upon the effort put forth.

Q:
CAN I HIRE AN EMPLOYEE TO DRIVE MY TRUCK FOR ME?
A:
No. Mac Tools requires that the primary business owner is also the owner/operator of the Mac Distributorship.

Q:
WHEN CAN I START, WHAT ARE THE NEXT STEPS?
